2023 Open Enrollment begins November 1, 2022!

Healthcare.gov marketplace open enrollment begins 11/1/2022.  During open enrollment, you can apply for marketplace plans that will begin on 1/1/2023.  If you are not eligible for an employer based health insurance plan, then you may be eligible for advanced tax credits to lower your cost for health insurance plans on healthcare.gov.

Open enrollment is an important time because it is when you can enroll or switch your current healthcare.gov plan.  This is a very important time for anyone that does not currently have health insurance.  Open enrollment is the best time to see if you qualify for advanced tax credits which can make plans more affordable.  Some people may qualify for plans costing less than $10/month.
